Performance Evaluation

Ministry team members are initially evaluated after their first 90 days of employment and annually thereafter. When prayerfully and conscientiously completed, performance evaluations are an effective tool for both ministry team members and ministry team leaders. The purposes of performance evaluations are:

  • Enhance communications
  • Improve job performance
  • Improve ministry team morale

The two primary instruments utilized in the performance evaluation are the Employee Policy Handbook, which specifies the general requirements that the church holds for each ministry team member, and the Job Description, which defines the specific requirements of a ministry team member's position.
